NY Uncontested Divorce

Going through the process of
divorce can be both emotionally and financially draining.  If your divorce is aggressively litigated,
the divorce process can become time consuming and extremely expensive.  A litigated divorce not only can take its toll on the parties, but it can have damaging results on the children of the marriage.

If the issues of property division and child-related issues can be worked out between you and your spouse without litigation, then an uncontested divorce is for you.  It  is also possible to proceed with   
an uncontested divorce even if  your spouse does not "appear" in the action.

NY Paralegal Services does not sell a "divorce kit" as do many of the out-of-state divorce services. We give you individual attention and are available to work with you  7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 11 p.m.  We are familiar with New York  Statutory requirements and procedural rules so your papers does not get "lost in the system".  NY Paralegal Services will prepare all required documents for your divorce so you will only need to

review, sign, and file them with your local County Clerk.  We also have Court "runners" throughout New York who are available to file your papers upon request.

NY Paralegal Services can prepare your uncontested divorce for just $450.00.   We prepare your documents; you sign and file them.  This is a great savings compared to the cost of retaining an attorney.

In addition to the fee for preparing your divorce documents, New York State Courts require certain fees in connection with the documents being filed.  These filing fees may vary by county.  If you qualify for "Poor Person Status", all Court filing fees are waived so you pay nothing to the Court.
